Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une s\u00e9rie d&#8217;exp\u00e9riences in vitro, l&#8217;\u00e9tude montre comment le FTX-101 perturbe la signalisation de la s\u00e9maphorine 3A (Sema3A), un inhibiteur cl\u00e9 du recrutement et de la diff\u00e9renciation des cellules pr\u00e9curseurs d&#8217;oligodendrocytes (OPC).<\/p><p>En neutralisant cette voie inhibitrice, FTX-101 r\u00e9tablit la migration des OPC et favorise leur maturation en oligodendrocytes producteurs de my\u00e9line. Le peptide a \u00e9galement d\u00e9montr\u00e9 sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9tablir la formation de la gaine de my\u00e9line dans les cocultures de neurones-oligodendrocytes humains d\u00e9riv\u00e9es d&#8217;iPSC et stimul\u00e9es par Sema3A, soulignant ainsi son potentiel en tant que premier agent remy\u00e9linisant de sa cat\u00e9gorie.<\/p><p>Cette publication marque une \u00e9tape importante dans la validation des fondements scientifiques du FTX-101 et dans son d\u00e9veloppement pour les maladies d\u00e9my\u00e9linisantes telles que la scl\u00e9rose en plaques et les neuropathies optiques chroniques.
